CreatorHQ by Clique ("CreatorHQ", "we") is a publishing tool for creators and clippers. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you remove it.
Information we collect
- Account details. Name, username, email address, profile picture, timezone.
- Onboarding answers. How you found CreatorHQ, your role, and your intended use.
- Content you upload. Videos, images, captions, hashtags and scheduling details.
- Connected accounts. Platform account IDs, display names, handles and profile pictures.
- Access tokens. OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by each platform you connect.
- Publishing records. Post status, platform post IDs, error messages and basic metrics.
How we use it
- To publish and schedule the posts you explicitly create and approve.
- To show your connected accounts, publishing history and analytics.
- To keep connections alive by refreshing tokens, and to prompt you to reconnect when they expire.
- To operate, secure and support the service.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or post anything on your behalf that you have not created and submitted in the composer.
Platform data
When you connect YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Threads, Snapchat or Reddit, we request only the permissions needed to identify the account, publish the posts you approve, and read basic performance data. Each permission and its reason is shown to you before you authorize the connection. Data from one platform is never shared with another platform, and platform data is never sold or transferred to third parties for advertising.
Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and security
- Access and refresh tokens are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are stored and are only decrypted inside our server runtime.
- Tokens are never sent to the browser and never appear in client-side code or logs.
- Every record is scoped to your workspace and enforced server-side with row-level security.
- Uploaded media lives in a private storage bucket, accessible only through short-lived signed URLs issued to you.
Retention and deletion
Disconnecting an account revokes the token with the platform where supported and deletes the stored credential immediately. Deleting your CreatorHQ account permanently removes your profile, media, posts, publishing history and all stored tokens. See the data deletion page.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time from Settings, or by contacting us at support@cliquestudio.online.
